Sopo, South East London.
My photography serves as a reflection of my own mixed cultural upbringing, observing the anxious fragility that pervades both my inner world and the broader environment. Shooting mainly on film, I embrace the ethos of slow and sustainable photography where each frame is a deliberate meditation. The interplay of colours, urban splashes coexisting with nature and humanity, candid moments of coincidence and joy. Through my lens ordinary snapshots are reframed, inviting viewers to find solace in the overlooked poetry of the everyday. I seek to capture the ephemeral magic that resides in the spaces between moments, celebrating the enduring spirit of hope and joy that thrives alongside the bleak.

I've always felt comfortable as an observer, fascinated by the ongoing changes around me as I grapple the nuances of my identity and sense of belonging. Adapting to new cultures has required me to relearn the art of blending in, often struggling to assert my true self. Photography has provided a sanctuary where I can express myself and my passion in a genuine manner.
